The primary function of A Plus Tutorial, Review & Learning Center
is to provide quality and personalized face to face or online Science,
Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, (STREAM) and PSAT/SAT
tutorial services to students from grade school, to middle school, and all the
way to high school to supplement classroom instruction and prepare them for
advance education and work in the 21st century and beyond.
In addition, the center
will host free effective, and engaging STREAM teacher training within the
locality to support and equip educators with more sophisticated forms of
teaching. A Plus believes that effective professional training is the key to
teachers learning and refining the pedagogies required to teach effective
communication and collaboration, self-direction, problem-solving, mastery of
challenging content, and creativity among the students.
Furthermore, A Plus will
organize parent workshops so they would become active partners in the education
of their children and academic success is a shared interest both in school and
the family. [1] The workshops will be available to parents of students who
attend tutorials at the center. The tutorials, parent and teacher
workshops will be conducted by highly competent and certified teachers of A
Plus Tutorial Center.
